Faither of the Week - Bodene Thompson
It wasn't long ago that Bodene Thompson was in the bad books with the club and fans alike. True to his character he has set out to seek forgiveness by doing what he does best, playing footy.
With the error of judgement on Bodenes behalf aside, 2016 has been another stellar season for Thomspon at the Warriors and his form must be screaming out to Stephen Kearney for Kiwi Test selection as well as going a long way to earning himself the Player of the Year award at the New Zealand Warriors.
Round 17 was yet another brilliant performance from the Kiwi back-rower, making 46 tackles, 5 tackle busts, running for over 150m as well as scoring a 4 pointer of his own.
It's fair to say that currently Bodene is in career best form and i am sure all Warriors fans can agree that we would love to see that continue. Congratulations to Bodene Thompson, winner of the Round 17 Faither of the Week Award.
