Faither of the Week - Shaun Johnson
After opening up with Veitchy earlier in the week where he explained his frustrations with his own game and the struggles he faces with outside noise, Shaun went back to enjoying his footy again and showed the critics and faithers alike, just what he is capable of when he has a smile on his face on the footy field.
SJ scored a try and went agonizingly close to scoring a 2nd as he jinked and stepped his way through would be defenders only to be stopped a couple of metres out from the try line. He also had 2 try assists, 2 line breaks and kicked 4 from 7.
It's important to give the forwards credit for Johnson's dazzling display. The engine room did their job, allowing SJ the space and time required for him to work his magic.
Let's hope this is the start of our push to the finals and SJ keeps that sort of form up.
