Round 15 Faither of the Week

Round 15
Mt Smart Stadium
NZ Warriors 12 def Sydney City Roosters 10
Faither of the Week - Issac Luke

After an indifferent start to the season, Luke has been slowly hitting the sort of form rugby league fans are accustomed with. After being criticized by media and fans alike, Luke also put the blow torch on himself as he openly admitted to the media that his form was nowhere near where it should have been.

A loss to Canberra in his home town of Taranaki was enough for Luke to set out to prove the critics wrong and remind everyone why he is widely regarded as one of the best hookers in the business.
Against the Roosters Luke was inspirational. After losing Tommy Leuluai early and with Shaun Johnson struggling with a quad strain, the kiwi hooker took it upon himself to guide the team to a hard fought victory.

Kicking 4 goals, making 24 tackles, 3 tackle breaks, 3 offloads, 143 kicking metres and running for 114m, Luke showed why his signature was so important for the club and is a worthy winner of the Faither of the Week award for round 15.
